Connect an AI assistant

Link ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to WormsMarketplace. Once connected, your assistant can search live listings, look up listing details, and check your own orders — always signed in as you.

2. Connect your assistant

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT settings → Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode (ChatGPT shows a risk notice there — review it before continuing). If Developer mode is unavailable, a ChatGPT admin needs to enable it.
  2. Open the new connector dialog.
  3. Paste WormsMarketplace as the name and the server address from above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create.
  5. Enable WormsMarketplace from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's Connectors page.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form does not open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, then enter WormsMarketplace as the name and paste the server address.
  4. Enable WormsMarketplace from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. Copy and run this one-line command in a terminal:
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm WormsMarketplace is connected. Claude Code asks you to sign in from that menu only when the connection needs your account.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use WormsMarketplace.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection and paste the server address from above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use WormsMarketplace.

3. Refresh after WormsMarketplace changes

Your assistant remembers the tools WormsMarketplace offered when you connected. After we add or change tools, refresh the connection so it picks up the latest version.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select WormsMarketplace.
  2. Scroll down to "Information" and click "Refresh".
  3. If the server address above ever changes, ChatGPT can't update it — delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps with the new address.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use WormsMarketplace.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's Connectors page and select WormsMarketplace.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the server address above ever changes, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps with the new address.
  4. Ask Claude to use WormsMarketplace.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the server address above ever changes, run `claude mcp remove worms-marketplace`, then run the install command above again with the new address.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use WormsMarketplace.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for WormsMarketplace.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the server address above ever changed, paste the latest address from the top of this page.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use WormsMarketplace.
